All our canine handlers use a regime certified by the NTIPDU (National Training Inspectorate for Professional Dog User). This system allows us to explore more specific categories of Training and Licensing of Dog Handlers. Not only was the achievement of the NTIPDU instrumental in the drawing up of BS8517, a standard resisted by many in the industry because of its strict requirements. But also now as a result all of our dog handlers are trained to EDI Level 2 Award for General Purpose Security Dog Handlers and/or NTIPDU Level 2 Certificate General Purpose Security Dog and Handler Team.
Our security patrol dog handler teams prove a useful asset in more vulnerable or higher risk situations, as well as providing excellent visual deterrents.
